Course Request Process

The Course Request Process for the 2022-2023 School Year is now closed.

High School & Beyond Plan (HSBP)

The HSBP is a Washington State High School Graduation requirement that begins in middle school. Students will have the opportunity to build a portfolio on Xello, a career exploration program. Students will get to explore their postsecondary pathway options by taking interest and career surveys and browsing results. The results are intended to be exploratory, and to be engaged with curiosity. Students will complete their middle school component of their HSBP in the spring of their 8th grade year.

Xello is a tool that students can use to develop self-awareness, take learning style inventories, and explore different career opportunities. Xello can be easily accessed from school, home, or wherever there is access to the internet. Students are able to complete assessments, career profiles, multimedia interviews, research colleges and financial aid information, and build resumes using this program.
